The following XChat script is free to use as you see fit, as long as you don't claim it as your own.*
- textualdynambot
- Version: 009.01
- A Reaction Script
- This is a means of easily creating rules for things to do and replies to make based
on what is said in channels or private messages. No knowledge of Perl is
required to cause XChat to reply to specific lines, or regular expressions
said either by privileged users, people who are not privileged, anyone, or
users within specific channels/networks.
- This is a fork of thermodynambot by b0at, with bug fixes, and feature additions.
- Features Additions: Built in reply cap. Better resolving of host before resorting to
doing a /who
- Bug Fixes: Does not reply to everything if Network:#channel is specified in +in,
Network:#channel actually works, does not complain about split if host is not known.
- Changelog (from 009): Load conf as UTF-8,
deal with rare case of no text in line
- Changelog (from 008): Regex character
changed, can be used for Channels and Networks. Action and Private rules are changed, but
old should work, more consistency, can be turned off
- Changelog (from 007): Escape wildcards, less
picky on spaces, right context on more PMs
- Full documentation (also included in zip): README
- Download: textualdynambot-009.01.zip
